Amber G was created by composer/producer Grant Grueninger in November, 2000, when a singer failed to show up for several recording sessions. Amber's unique vocals are created using a process called "Vocal Animation" that involves pitch shifting, tonal alteration, and extensive digital editing. The result is an astonishingly real-sounding 16-year-old girl with dynamic character and an outstanding vocal range. Since her creation, Amber has recorded an album and an EP, was hired by the City of San Mateo to write and record a jingle, and received press coverage that called her an "animated sci-fi voice-bot". "I Wanna Be..." and "Take Me On" are on sale now in most online stores, including iTunes.

The EP, titled "Take Me On", is the follow-up to her first album "I Wanna Be..." which received rave reviews and created a small cult following. The new EP features three tracks: "Take On Me", "Leaving Again (dance remix)", and "Sugar Storm".
Amber's digital range makes "Take On Me" a fun flashback with a catchy new sound. "Leaving Again (dance remix)", originally written for Paul Oakenfold, is a seven-minute techno trance version of a song from Amber's first album. New song "Sugar Storm" closes the EP with a haunting melody about losing love.
